Ukraine, without security and sovereignty guarantees, as well as assurances of protection from a new attack by moscow, will become a source of geopolitical risks for all of Europe. This was stated by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský during a security conference held on March 18 at Prague Castle, Radio Prague reports.
Support for Ukraine is inseparable from our own security and, therefore, our prosperity, Lipavský emphasized in his speech. He believes that assisting Ukraine, which is resisting the russian invasion, must continue as a matter of self-interest.
The minister also stated that it is in the strategic interests of the United States to remain engaged in the architecture of European security, and strengthening Europe can help in this regard.
He also reminded that sabotage and information warfare by russia are directed against all of Europe with the goal of undermining democracy, polarizing society, and intimidating the population.
