As a result of the enemy attack on Sloviansk, three civilians were injured. This was reported by the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office on March 19, specifying that an investigation has been launched.
"On March 18, 2025, at 20:50, russian forces struck Sloviansk. As a result of the shelling in one of the city's districts, two civilians aged 58 and 59 were injured. They sustained mine-explosive injuries and contusions. The injured were taken to the hospital. Additionally, a 71-year-old woman was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. The type of weapon used is being determined", - the statement said.
In the settlement, 21 private homes and vehicles were damaged.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Sloviansk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the cynical attack by the occupiers against the civilian population", - the Prosecutor’s Office added.
