A total of 3,348 russian strikes on the front line and civilian areas of the Donetsk oblast were recorded in the past day, the regional police reported on Telegram on April 8.
Eleven settlements came under fire: the towns of Bilozirske, Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Siversk, and the villages of Hryshyne, Zirka, Zoria, Novodmytrivka, Piddubne.
A total of 61 civilian objects were damaged, including 48 residential houses.
Kostiantynivka was hit 7 times, including 6 bomb strikes – a civilian was killed, two others wounded, including a girl born in 2015. Eleven private houses, a store, an educational institution, a business, and an agricultural facility were damaged.
One person was killed in Hryshyne, and a private house was damaged.
In Pokrovsk, an FAB-250 bomb destroyed a five-story apartment building. In Rodynske, a russian Molniya-2 drone damaged a private house.
Two Geran-2 attack drones targeted Dobropillia – two apartment buildings, a store, and two civilian cars were damaged. In Bilozirske, 7 private houses and 2 vehicles were damaged in a drone strike.
In Siversk, two guided aerial bombs damaged two apartment buildings.
In Novodmytrivka of the Kostiantynivka community, occupiers dropped three FAB-250 bombs – 9 private houses were damaged. In Zoria of the Illinivka community, a russian bomb damaged 3 apartment buildings and 5 private houses.
In the Komar community, russian forces struck with two UMPB D-30SN bombs: in Zirka, 5 private houses were damaged, and in Piddubne – 1 house.
The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reports that 259 more people were evacuated from the front line in the past day, including 127 children.
