This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in an interview with Lb.ua.
According to him, for almost a week now, there has been a recorded near doubling of russian offensive actions in all main directions of the front.
Syrskyi also commented on the joint exercises of russia and belarus scheduled for autumn, and the possibility of a new offensive on Ukraine from the north. He says that such exercises may aim to covertly form an offensive troop grouping.
"That's exactly how it started in 2022. You remember that first the grouping was formed, it conducted exercises, and we all hoped they would end, and russian troops would return to their territory", - the Commander-in-Chief stated, adding that this must be taken into account.
