This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in an interview with Lb.ua.
Currently, Ukraine receives its primary support from European partners, while aid from the U.S. has decreased, Syrskyi said.
At the same time, Ukraine is seeing success in its own weapons production – in particular, artillery, drones, and electronic warfare systems. Ukrainian expertise is already being studied by its partners.
In response to a question about whether Ukraine could cope without U.S. aid, the Commander-in-Chief said: “Yes, of course”, but emphasized that “we also need to rely on our own strength”.
