Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the permanent deployment point (PDP) of the 448th missile brigade of the russian army in the Kursk oblast, which had launched a missile strike on the city of Sumy on Palm Sunday. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Operatyvnyi ZSU", citing the General Staff.
“Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, attacked several targets in the Kursk oblast linked to war criminals involved in the missile strike on the city of Sumy on April 13, 2025, and other war crimes against the people of Ukraine. In particular, the PDP of the 448th missile brigade of the russian occupiers was hit. Secondary detonation of ammunition was recorded, and the results of the strike are being clarified”, - the report says.
As previously reported, on Palm Sunday, April 13, russia carried out a double missile strike on Sumy. The attacks killed 35 people and injured over 100 others.
