On April 11, russian occupiers captured a Ukrainian serviceman who was carrying out a mission at a position near the village of Rozdolne in the Donetsk oblast, and later executed him. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on April 16.
According to the report, the deceased, along with two other Ukrainian servicemen, were at their position when they were all captured during an enemy assault. One of the unarmed Ukrainian soldiers was executed by representatives of the aggressor state’s army using automatic weapons.
Law enforcement is currently establishing the circumstances of the incident to bring the responsible russians to justice.
Previously, the russians also executed four Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
