"This week, Ukraine is under pressure to respond to a series of ideas from the Trump administration on how to end the war in Ukraine, including potential U.S. recognition of russia’s occupation of Crimea in 2014 and Kyiv’s renunciation of joining NATO", - writes The Wall Street Journal, citing sources.
According to Western officials, these ideas were laid out in a confidential document presented by senior officials from U.S. President Trump’s administration to their Ukrainian counterparts in Paris.
Trump’s plan also proposes turning the territory around the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant into a neutral zone under U.S. control and effectively freezing the front line while cementing the occupation of part of the territories.
