The President of Ukraine said this on 24 April at a press conference in South Africa, commenting on yesterday’s negotiations in London involving representatives of the United States, Ukraine, and Europe, BBC reports.
The report recalls that the day before, the White House press secretary said Donald Trump’s patience was “running out”, because Washington believes Zelensky is moving “in the wrong direction” when it comes to peace talks.
“That’s not how it works. If russia says it is ready for a cease‑fire, it must stop its massive strikes on Ukraine. Patience? It is Ukrainians whose patience is running out, because it is we who are under attack, no one else”, - Zelensky stressed at the press conference.
