The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers Rubio's statements about a possible U.S. withdrawal from peace talks a "communication strategy" 04/25/2025 16:30:11. Total views 63. Views today — 2.

This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi at a briefing on April 25.

According to Tykhyi, when Washington sends such signals publicly, it is trying to stimulate the peace process.

He noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had not received any official diplomatic communication or notes through closed channels regarding the U.S. intention to withdraw from the peace talks.

"We’re not dramatizing these signals. We understand that complex work continues. The tip of the iceberg is public messaging, and [beneath] lies the part of closed diplomacy", - Tykhyi explained.

As a reminder, earlier U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the U.S. expects results from the negotiations to end the war in Ukraine within days, not weeks.
