"I have introduced articles of impeachment against President Trump. When Trump ignores the Constitution, Congress, and the courts, he is not “fighting for America”. He is tearing it down and endangering our democracy", - stated Democratic Congressman Shri Thanedar from the state of Michigan on X on April 29.
According to Thanedar, Trump is particularly guilty of unlawfully cutting funding to government agencies through the Department of Government Efficiency without Congressional approval, pursuing aggressive tariff policies, pressuring journalists, bribery, interfering with the judiciary, illegally collecting citizens’ personal data, and abusing power.
