President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko considers Russia’s attempts to destabilize the situation in Ukraine through the media financed by it as unacceptable. Poroshenko said that at the meeting with heads of law enforcement agencies, - reports the press service of the head of state.
"However, it is absolutely unacceptable to implement scenario of the aggressor state when through funding from the Russian Federation certain media are trying to destabilize the internal political situation in Ukraine, but the response to it must be in a completely legal way," - stressed the President.
Poroshenko added that law enforcement agencies should prevent the escalation of violence and the actions of the particular media should be evaluated in the framework of the law.
