The European Union insists on full observance of the ceasefire by both sides in the Donbass. This is stated by the press service of the European Union External Action Service, - Ukrainski Novyny reports.
"We call for the fighting to stop immediately. This would also allow for the urgent repair of critical infrastructures. Full observance of the ceasefire is a crucial step towards the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, which is the basis for a peaceful and sustainable resolution of the conflict, respecting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity", - the statement reads.
EU notes that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission must be granted full and unrestricted access to all conflict-affected areas.
As previously reported, the Donetsk regional military and civil administration declared a state of emergency in Avdiivka and set up the Aftermath of the accident HQ. On January 30, a water filter plant and Avdiivka Coke Plant were de-energized in a result of the militants’ shelling.
