The creator of the "Vostok" terrorist battalion Alexander Khodakovsky was out of conceit with the highest political leadership of Russia because of its position on the Donbass. He wrote about this on his page in social network.
"They ask today: then why was one rhetoric in respect of Russia in the fourteenth, and now it has changed? I answer: because we believed all of Russia at that time, and now we believe only Russian people. It was all the same for us at that time - only individuals had understood something in the vicissitudes of Russian interior. But now we have penetrated into it more than we themselves wanted", - Khodakovsky writes.
The militant recalls that the very first steps of the leadership of the Russian Federation in relation to the so-called Russian Spring provided evidence of the reluctance to support the separatists of Donbass in their aspirations to become part of Russia.
"My first lesson on acquaintance with Russian political face occurred when a delegation consisting of Kuchma, Medvedchuk and Zurabov who was the Russian Ambassador to Ukraine at that time arrived in Donetsk for a round of talks. Zurabov sat down with our opponents and painfully reacted to our replies to Ukraine during the meeting. This made an unpleasant impression…", - he complains.
Khodakovsky was supported by his supporters. "The whole problem is that everyone believed Putin after the Crimea and everyone was waiting for the Crimean version, but Putin is Putin, our whole Russian world is more dangerous for him than Poroshenko and the company, they did everything to kill the idea itself because there is always a question of ownership and alternatives to Putin's Russia with the victory of the real New Russia…", - one of the commentators of the post of the creator of the "Vostok" terrorist battalion wrote.
Alexander Khodakovsky is a former SBU employee who betrayed the oath from the first days of the Russian hybrid war against Ukraine and became one of the leaders of the Donbass terrorists. He created and headed the "Vostok" battalion. He is currently removed from all official posts in the "DPR". He is in confrontation with the so-called "head of the republic" Alexander Zakharchenko. He is an ideologist of the Donbass joining Russia, but his approaches to this issue do not find understanding in the Russian Federation.
