The new seventh wave of mobilization in Ukraine is likely to begin in late February - early March of this year and will last two months. A source in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine told about this to the Apostrophe.
"The seventh wave is probable to be very big. In any case, we need to change 40 thousand of people called in during the fourth wave in January-April of the last year", - he said.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, 20 thousand out of the amount are planned to be on short-term contracts of up to six months: "These are the people who were mobilized and obtained some military qualification. Now we are working with the military commissar, so that they involve such people. The rest about 20-25 thousand. people - will be called in."
The source added that the current military commissariats were finding out how many are eligible for military service deferment for health, marital status or some other statutory reasons.
