The fake minister of communications of the "DNR" Viktor Yatsenko suggests the company Vodafone-Ukraine to launch the connection of MTS to the occupied territory via Russia. He stated this today at a press conference, - separatist media writes.

He states that the company Vodafone-Ukraine refuses to cooperate with the militants.

"We voiced the need for engineers, and we were told that it is impossible to connect additional communication stations, MTS refuses to cooperate with us", - he said.

In this regard, in his address to Vodafone-Ukraine, Yatsenko noted that it is possible to receive representatives of the company in Rostov-on-Don and launch the connection of MTS to the occupied territory via Russia.

"We have the opportunity to technically accept their signal in Rostov-on-Don (Russian Federation), through the company MTS-Russia. If they are forbidden to have any contacts with representatives of the Donetsk People's Republic, we have quite a serious proposal about the possibility of a "junction" in Rostov-on-Don, where we could launch the connection through the trunk lines that are controlled by the DNR", - he said.

As previously reported, on January 11, Vodafone (MTS) mobile operator was disconnected throughout the occupied territory of Donbass because of the militants. In this situation, the demand for start packages of the previously unpopular separatist operator Phoenix, created on the equipment stolen from the Ukrainian Kyivstar, has sharply increased. In a short time, more than 100,000 new subscribers joined it. However, Phoenix was not able to provide a decent level of communication.
