Messages about mining of several restaurants in the city center came from Luhansk region. It is reported by press service of the MD NA in Lviv region.
"Personality of the cyberterrorist has not been identified. However, the police and SSU traced his/her location. In particular, messages about mining came from Luhansk region. The offender used email at Russian "mailer" Yandex, the server of which is located in Moscow," - said the acting Chief of the Main directorate of the National Police in Lviv region colonel Dmitriy Zahariya.
According to him, the crime is qualified by law enforcement officers as cyber subversive action aimed at destabilizing the situation in Lviv and Lviv region.
Therefore, criminal proceedings were opened in accordance with Part 1 of the Article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberately false information about the threat to the security of citizens, destruction or damage of property objects). Sanction of the article provides punishment of imprisonment for a term of two to seven years.
As reported by OstroV, today at 7:20 the call center of the Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv region received an e-mail reporting about mining of several catering establishments that are located in the central part of the city.
