President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine would continue reforms, despite the crisis in relations between the government and the parliamentary coalition. He said this during the telephone conversation with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde, - reports the press service of Poroshenko.
According to the report, Poroshenko stressed in conversation with Lagarde the need to reset the Cabinet of Ministers without early parliamentary elections, which will only deepen the political crisis and worsen conditions for reforms.
Poroshenko said that he was determined to act decisively to ensure the political and financial stability in the country.
Ukrainian President and the IMF Managing Director agreed to prepare a roadmap for priority reforms that will give new impetus to relations with the International Monetary Fund. They also agreed on the need for the Ukrainian Parliament to adopt all reform laws.
