Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov is not going to build new stadiums, because he believes that FC Shakhtar will soon return to Donetsk and will play at home Donbass Arena. She told about this in an interview with Footballua.tv.
Answering the journalist's question whether he is going to build new stadium for the games of his team, forced to leave occupied Donetsk, Rinat Akhmetov was categorical. "No, by no means. We have the Donbass Arena stadium and we all live with the dream that Shakhtar will return to the Donbass Arena and will hold their brightest matches there", - the football club owner said.
The businessman recalled that in 2014, he made a kind of vow – not to visit any other stadiums until the return of Shakhtar to the Donbass Arena.
"I miss football very much. All the tragic events started, and I cannot return to Donetsk for the sixth year. I have not been at the stadium for five years. I would like us to be at the stadium with our fans. So that we watch together, be proud, rejoice and cry from the game of our team", - Rinat Akhmetov concluded.
