Preparatory measures are being taken to withdraw troops along the entire demarcation line in the Donbass. This was stated by the JF Operation Commander, Lieutenant General Volodymyr Kravchenko, - the press center of the JFO headquarters reports.
"Today preparations are underway for the withdrawal of troops along the entire demarcation line. This task has been determined by the Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the head of state. We are ready for this in order to improve the lives of our citizens and, in the end, everything will depend on the mirror actions from the opposite side", - Kravchenko noted.
According to him, active preparatory work is underway in Stanytsia Luhanska to begin work on the restoration of the bridge.
"A site has been prepared for construction equipment and placement of building materials. The road surface of the access road has already been expanded and restored. An additional bus is planned to be launched soon, so that crossing the contact line for our citizens will be even easier and more comfortable", - he noted.
Kravchenko also told about the prospects for creating safe areas around the settlements of Zolote and Petrivske. "It was planned to create such areas back in 2016, but until today, they remain militarized. I am convinced that this will be the next step after Stanytsia Luhanska", - he said.
