The CADO propagandists lie that the organizers of the European Bodybuilding Championship in Spain recognized the "DNR" as a participant in prestigious international competitions. This follows from the message of the press service of the so-called "Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism".
The partial truth of this message is that a native of Donetsk Oblast Dmitrii Iankin did indeed compete in Spain and won a bronze medal at the bodybuilding IFBB European Championships.
However, local propagandists tried to present this sporting achievement as international recognition of the "DNR" in the world of sports.
"A bodybuilder from the DNR won a bronze medal at the European Championships in Santa Susanna, Spain", - separatist media retold the message of the "ministry" with this headline.
"The competition was attended by about 1000 athletes from 40 countries of the world, including our fellow countryman Dmitrii Iankin", - the occupation authorities hastened to inform.
However, according to the protocols of the Championship, Dmitrii Iankin represented Russia in Spain and there was no talk of any international recognition of the "DNR" in the world of sports.
