The Verkhovna Rada confirmed the strategic course of Ukraine towards acquiring full membership in the European Union, called for the recognition of the prospects for Ukraine's membership in the EU.
The people's deputies also called for tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation in connection with the illegal issuance of passports by Russia to Ukrainian citizens and the forced attraction of Ukrainian citizens to participate in the Russian election.
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada called on the European Parliament to urgently consider at the plenary session and take measures to ban the Nord Stream 2 project.
