Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced his resignation. The Prime Minister said that in his video message which was made public on April 10th, - reports Ukrainska Pravda.

"Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction nominated Vladimir Groysman (VR speaker - UP) for the post of the head of the government. Having done all for the stability and continuity of course, I declare my decision to transfer the responsibilities of the head of the Ukrainian government," – said Yatsenyuk.

"Now I see my tasks broader than the powers of the head of the government: a new electoral law, constitutional reform, judicial reform, the coalition control over the course of the new government, international support for Ukraine and its membership in the EU and NATO are a part of my programme," - said Yatsenyuk.

"We got rid of inequality nomenclature, saved Ukrainian economy from default, started large-scale structural changes and did everything for the irreversibility of European choice. Despite the war, we created the conditions for economic recovery," – said Yatsenyuk referring to the work of his Cabinet.

Yatsenyuk also asked the NF to support his decision and pointed out that Narodnyi Front stayed in the coalition.

Yatsenyuk added that "the rating is variable" and the Narodnyi Front faction within two years "demonstrated unity, responsibility for words and ability to make difficult decisions, acted honestly and did not fight against the allies," - said the statement.
