The Kremlin states that it expects the Ukrainian authorities to accept the occupation by the russian federation and understand the current situation. This was stated by speaker of the head of the russian federation Dmitry Peskov, - the russian Interfax writes.
When asked by journalists what concessions russia expects from Ukraine, Peskov replied that Moscow is waiting for Kyiv to accept its demands and "realize the de facto situation - the real situation that exists".
To a clarifying question from journalists whether this included territorial concessions, Peskov replied: "These are not territorial concessions. I repeat once again, Kyiv needs to recognize the de facto situation and just critically evaluate it".
It should be noted that russia calls its full-scale invasion of Ukraine a "special operation", and it also hides the truth about the atrocities of the russian military against civilian Ukrainians.
As OstroV reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told in a video message on May 25 that some Western politicians still offer Ukraine to make territorial concessions to russia, without taking into account the values of the Ukrainians themselves.
