The WBC World Boxing Council has excluded russian and belarusian athletes from the ratings of the organization. This was announced on Twitter on November 8 with reference to the WBC head, - journalist Jake Donovan stated.
"All boxers from Russia and Belarus will be excluded from the rating. The WBC will not sanction fights in these countries", - head of the organization Mauricio Sulaimán stated.
This decision was made by the World Boxing Council against the backdrop of the ongoing war between russia and Ukraine. Let us note that according to the organization, the TOP-15 heavyweights now include four russians at once.
