Leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko announced the beginning of the collecting of signatures for the petition of alleged non-fulfillment by Ukraine of the UN Security Council resolution "On approval of the set of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements". It is reported by the separatist DAN website with reference to the "administration" of the militant leader.

"The public of Donbass initiates an appeal to the international organizations to stop the genocide of the peoples of Donbass by the Ukrainian authorities and stop punitive operation called the ATO. We begin the process of collecting signatures and will show the world that millions of our fellow citizens are waiting for peace and end of the nightmare going on for two years due to the fault of Kiev," - said the statement of the militant who was directly involved in the outbreak of the conflict.

The leader of the "DPR" accused Ukraine of "fragging out" the process of peaceful resolution.

As previously reported, members of the UN Security Council unanimously approved a resolution proposed by Russia, which expressed support for the Minsk agreements to resolve the Ukrainian conflict on February 17th.

According to the report, the resolution, inter alia, states that all parties to the conflict in Ukraine should fully fulfill the Minsk agreements. Meanwhile, the terrorists "republics" with the logistical support of the Russian Federation violate the Minsk agreements by constant shelling and refusal to release prisoners. Zakharchenko regularly declares that he is ready to occupy the whole Donetsk region and positions himself as the leader of the ephemeral "DPR" which the Minsk agreements do not mention.
