President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his visit to Zaporizhzhia on November 30, held meetings with the military regarding the situation with defense and strengthening fortifications on the main fronts. He shared this information in an evening video address to Ukrainians.
"I have just held two important meetings in Zaporizhzhia. An operational one with the military, with Generals Tarnavskyi, Moskaliov, Litvinov and all those responsible for defense here in the Zaporizhzhia oblast", - Zelensky stated.
According to him, the discussions centered on reinforcing fortifications in Avdiivka, Marinka, and other directions in the Donetsk oblast, as well as in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Rivne, Volyn, and the south of the Kherson oblast. Another topic of the meeting was the construction of shelters in schools, particularly in Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region, to enable children to study in a hybrid format, including offline learning.
It was also previously reported that Zelensky visited a school stationed in Kharkiv subway and talked to the schoolchildren.
